Arne Slot said Monday he was "surprised" by Mohamed Salah's explosive interview following Liverpool's 3-3 draw with Leeds United and said he does not know if the forward has played his final game for the club.
The 33-year-old claimed he was being “thrown under the bus” for Liverpool’s poor run of form and said he has “no relationship” with Slot. Less than 48 hours later, Salah was left out of Liverpool’s squad to face Inter in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
"I'm calm, polite, but that doesn't mean I'm weak," Slot said when asked about Mohamed Salah's explosive rant over the weekend. "It's up to us as a club to react and you can see he isn't here."
